My role at Westbank

I have recently been invited to join Westbank as a Trustee and was delighted to accept.  I hope to be able to contribute to the continuing success of this important local organisation.

My standout career moments

I was a career NHS manager having joined as a trainee and been fortunate enough to hold Board level roles for 25 years before retiring in 2013. I have worked in various parts of the South West but mostly in South Devon. I have continued to work on a freelance basis for the last three years through Kernow Health CIC, the GP organisation in Cornwall.

My values

I always focus on 'doing the right thing' and my sense of respect, fairness, honesty and commitment means that I am able to engender trust. I have a strong commitment to partnership working and enjoy working with others to see a way forward and communicate that vision.

Personal interests

I am a Devonian and have lived in Alphington for almost 40 years enjoying family life and our holidays in the Canary Islands. We are long-term supporters of Exeter Chiefs rugby club!
