Corporate and Partnerships

We are proud to work in partnership with many great organisations, schools and businesses throughout Devon. Together, we support individuals/people in communities across Devon to live fulfilled, healthier, happier lives for longer.

We understand that working in partnership is a two-way street. We can support your staff, pupils and teams with information, advice, volunteering opportunities, and of course, provide support for your fundraising activities.

The Benefits

Working in partnership with a local charity offers many benefits to your organisation. These include:

  • Helping you to meet your Corporate Social Responsibility objectives
  • Increased employee attraction, engagement and retention
  • Opportunities for team building
  • Contributing to employees’ professional and personal development
  • Increased brand exposure for your organisation
  • Positive PR Coverage
For Westbank Community Health and Care, your support enables us to continue to care for our community now and in the future.

Charity of the Year Partnerships

Nominate Westbank Community Health and Care as your 'Charity of the Year', and together we can support more people in need of our services across Devon.

Work with us to:

♥ Create bespoke fundraising activities such as cake sales, a charity quiz or a golf day.

♥ Organise a sponsored challenge such as a run, walk, or sky dive!

♥ Access volunteering opportunities for your employees across the charity, tailored to their skills and interests.

♥ Organise a team building exercise to support one of our many projects and services.

♥ Offer your services ‘in kind’ for the benefit of our charity.

In return, we can provide fundraising materials, charity literature and our support.

To discuss the many other ways we can work together in a partnership, or for current sponsorship opportunities, please contact our Fundraising Team on 01392 824752

Sponsorship

As a Charity, it costs us...

  • £15,000 a year to facilitate Health Walks across 24 locations
  • £30,000 a year to run our Patient Transport service, which supports over 750 people
  • £30,000 a year to provide our Community Services, offering 7,500 places
  • £35,000 a year to undertake Community Projects

With your help, we’d love to do more.

By providing sponsorship towards our services, you are helping reduce our funding shortfall and enabling us to expand our services to reach more people in need of our support.

Increase your brand awareness whilst meeting your CSR objectives through the sponsorship of one of our events, publications, or services.

Volunteering

Volunteers are key to the success of the work we do to promote health and wellbeing, and provide support through a wide range of services to communities across Devon. We offer a variety of opportunities to accommodate individual skills and interests, with lots of flexibility to suit organisational needs.

Volunteering can take up as much, or as little, time as your organisation can offer, and we can tailor bespoke opportunities to meet your requirements.

By providing your colleagues with the opportunity to volunteer, you are offering them the chance to:

  • Meet new people
  • Develop a sense of purpose
  • Learn new skills and develop existing skills
  • Build their confidence and self-esteem
  • Develop their career prospects and gain experience in new areas of work

All volunteers will receive a thorough induction as well as ongoing training and support. Please note some Volunteer roles may be subject to a DBS check.

For more information about the Volunteering Opportunities available to your organisation, please contact our Volunteer Engagement Manager on 01392 824752 or email [email protected]

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is one of the easiest and most cost-effective ways to donate to Westbank Community Health and Care. Each time your employees are paid, a donation is deducted by your payroll department before tax is calculated. This means that your employees will not have to pay the Income Tax normally due to the Inland Revenue on their donation.

Payroll Gifts are deducted via your employee's payslips before tax and therefore the actual cost to them is just 80p for every £1 that we receive, or if you are a higher rate taxpayer, just 60p.

If your employees decided to give to our charity via Payroll Giving (also known as GAYE), then they would be contributing towards a more sustainable form of income for us, allowing us to plan ahead much more effectively.

For further information about working in partnership with Westbank Community Health and Care, please contact our Fundraising Team on 01392 824752

Collection boxes

We are always happy to supply collection boxes to organisations. These could be hosted at your reception, main entrance or used to collect donations at an event.
